Privacy policy

This is an information site with no accounts, no forms and no advertising trackers. We hold almost nothing about you — this page sets out exactly what, why, and for how long.

01

Who is responsible

Corezora Top (top.corezora.com) is published by Corezora. For anything concerning your personal information — access, correction or a complaint — write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, as the Australian Privacy Principles require.

02

The law that applies

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where a visitor is covered by another privacy regime, we apply whichever standard gives them more protection.

03

Age restriction

This site is intended for adults in Australia. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

04

What we collect

Two things, and nothing else. We do not operate user accounts, we do not run a newsletter, we do not host a contact form, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers — see our cookie policy for what is stored on your device.

Server logs
  • Information: IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring page, browser user agent
  • Why: serving the site, diagnosing faults, and protecting against attack and abuse
  • Basis: necessary for our functions and activities (APP 3)
  • Kept: access logs up to 14 days; security logs up to 90 days
Email you send us
  • Information: your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message
  • Why: to read and answer you, and to correct the site if you report an error
  • Basis: necessary to respond to your enquiry (APP 3)
  • Kept: up to 180 days after the exchange ends, then deleted

We never ask for account credentials, identity documents, card numbers or bank details, and you should never send them to us. No legitimate operator or affiliate will ask you for a password.

05

Who else sees it

Only the suppliers needed to run the site, and only to the extent their service requires:

  • Our hosting and content-delivery provider
  • Our email provider
  • A law enforcement body or regulator, where we are legally required to disclose

We do not sell personal information, we do not trade it, and we do not disclose it to the operators we review. When you follow a link to an operator we pass no personal information — only a campaign tag identifying that the click came from this site.

06

Overseas disclosure

Our hosting and email suppliers may store data on servers outside Australia. Before disclosing personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, as APP 8 requires.

07

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We keep the information we hold to the minimum described above, restrict access to it, and delete it on the schedule set out in clause 4 — the most reliable protection being not to hold it in the first place.

08

Automated decisions

We do not profile visitors and make no automated decisions about anyone. Operator ratings are editorial judgements made by people and apply to operators, not to you.

09

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 you may:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get access to it (APP 12)
  • Ask us to correct it if it is wrong or out of date (APP 13)
  • Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
  • Complain if you think we have mishandled it

Write to [email protected]. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
